Maundy Thursday Meal

Maundy Thursday Meal

Thursday 2nd April | 7:30pm

Part service, part meal, part group therapy; the Maundy Thursday Meal is not to be missed.

Our evening will mirror the first century passover meal that would have been the basis of Jesus’ last supper. Along the way we will pause to reflect on how we are being invited to join in with the ancient Hebrew story of divine liberation today.

The event is free, but if you could let us know you’re coming it would help us plan the catering .

Good Grief, Good Friday Meditations

Good Grief: Good Friday Meditations

Friday 3rd April | 12:00-3:00pm

“From noon until three in the afternoon, darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means My God My God, why have you forsaken me?).”

Join us for as little or as long as you want, any time between midday and 3pm as we trace the story of Good Friday and make space to reckon with grief.

Six half-hourly meditations will begin at 12:00pm, with readings, reflections, and music. Around them there will be space and silence to pause, pray, and sit with this holy disruption.
