Our Readers
Gary Best, Reader
Gary was licensed as a Reader in Wells Cathedral in 2019. As well as ministering at St. Luke's Church, Gary is the Historical Consultant at the New Room in Bristol, having been responsible for its new Museum and Visitors’ Centre. Gary has been a Methodist Preacher for over 40 years.
Yvonne Fry, Reader
Yvonne returns to us as a Reader after serving for a number of years in a parish to the south of Bath. As well as preaching and leading at St. Luke's, together with her husband, Richard, she is involved in the ministry at one of the care homes in our parish.
Lindsay Glazebrook, Reader
Lindsay was licensed as a Reader in Wells Cathedral in 2012. She has served mostly at St Luke’s but she and her husband Steve spent 3 years in the Diocese of Exeter.
She began training for Locally Deployed Ordained Ministry at Sarum College in Salisbury in 2023 and looks forward to continuing her ministry at St Luke’s once ordained.
