Getting married at St Luke’s
If you are considering a Wedding at St Luke’s the first step is to get in touch. We can talk through possible dates, answer any questions you may have, and arrange for you to meet with a member of the clergy.
As your wedding approaches, we’ll guide you through the whole process, helping you think about readings, music, hymns, flowers, bells, fees and all the practical details that make up the day.
Can I get married at St Luke’s?
To be married in a Church of England church, you need to have a qualifying connection with the parish. You may be able to marry at St Luke’s if one of the following applies:
You currently live in the parish.
You have attended St Luke’s regularly for at least six months.
You have lived in the parish for at least six months at any point in your life.
You were baptised in the parish.
Your confirmation was recorded in the parish.
A parent has lived in the parish for at least six months during your lifetime, or attended church here regularly for at least six months.
A parent or grandparent was married in the parish.
